Terms of service

These terms govern your use of OSMEXO AI Model Exchange (“the service”), operated by OSMEXO (“we”). By creating an account or sending a request to the API you agree to them. The service is meant for businesses and developers; you must be at least 18 to open an account.

1. The service

The service is an API gateway. It forwards your requests to third-party model providers, returns their responses, and bills you for the tokens or units consumed at the prices shown in your dashboard. We select the provider that serves each request from the routes we have enabled for that model, and we do not disclose which provider served it. Before a route is enabled we check that it answers as the named model, and you can verify any model yourself against the vendor’s own API with the script on the model’s dashboard page. We do not guarantee that a specific provider will be used, and model outputs are generated by third-party models that can be wrong; check them before you rely on them.

2. Accounts and keys

You sign in with an email address and password, or with Google. Accounts belong to an organisation; the owner and admins are responsible for the members they invite and for everything those members do. You are responsible for the API keys created under your organisation and for all usage made with them. Keys are shown once and stored only as a hash; keep them secret, rotate them if exposed, and use the budgets, model allow-lists, IP allow-lists and expiry dates the dashboard offers. 3. Credits and what is billed

The service is prepaid. Credits are held in US dollars, do not expire, and are debited per request at the price displayed for the model at the time of the request, less any discount granted to you. In India you pay in Indian rupees at the rate shown before you confirm; the credit you receive is the US-dollar amount you chose. Before a request runs we reserve an estimate against your balance and your limits; the request is rejected up front if it does not fit. After it completes we charge what was actually used: every token the model generated, including a stream you cancel part-way and the reasoning tokens some models spend before their visible answer. A request that failed on our side is not charged.

Purchases are capped at $500 a day and $1,000 a month for a new organisation; ask from the Billing page to raise that. Free credit granted on sign-up or on request is promotional: it cannot be withdrawn or refunded, and we may remove it from accounts created to collect it more than once. Discounts we grant on request apply from the moment of approval and may be withdrawn with notice. Prices can change; the price in effect when a request is made is the one charged. Refunds are handled under our refund policy.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, to violate the usage policies of the underlying model providers, to send or generate content that is illegal or infringes others’ rights, to attack, probe or overload the service, to work around rate limits or spending controls, or to resell access without agreement. We apply rate limits per key and per organisation and may lower them for abusive traffic. We may suspend accounts that breach this section, and organisations whose payments are reversed or disputed, until the matter is resolved.

5. Availability

We route around failing providers and aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the credits you paid for in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect loss or for the content a model produces.

6. Your content

Prompts, completions and generated media belong to you. We store request metadata for 90 days to bill you and show you your usage. Request and response content is stored only if your organisation turns on request logging, and then for seven days. Generated images, audio and video are kept for seven days so you can download them. Content is sent to the provider that serves the request under that provider’s terms, and we do not use it to train models. The privacy page has the detail.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes are announced on this website and by email to organisation owners. You can close your account at any time from the dashboard and request a refund of unused credits under the refund policy. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms.
